Telangana Election 2023: Telangana chief minister KCR promised to set up a special information technology (IT) park for Muslim youth at Pahadishareef near Hyderabad

Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday reiterated that the Bharatiya Janata Party will do away with reservation for Muslims. He added that BJP has always fulfilled its promise, be it construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

“K Chandrasekhar Rao hasn’t fulfilled any promises, and scams have happened in every project. Whatever promises BJP has made, it has fulfilled them. We promised Ram Mandir, and temple construction is happening,” Amit Shah said.

He further reiterated that the four per cent reservation of the Muslim community will be ended, and distributed among the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes.

“I am confident that Telangana’s informed voters, before casting their votes, will properly analyse everything and will take into account the background of everything. Following this, their choice will definitely be the ‘Lotus’, will definitely be the Bharatiya Janata Party,” the Union minister said.

On the contrary, Telangana chief minister KCR promised to set up a special information technology (IT) park for Muslim youth at Pahadishareef near Hyderabad, if the BRS is voted back to office.

Addressing a rally at Maheshwaram on Thursday, he said Congress had always treated Muslims only as a vote bank and had never worked for their development.

Communal disturbances were a regular feature during the Congress regime, whereas there had been no curfews and law and order issues during the last nine years of BRS government, KCR said.
