If you too leave your child in the hands of the Aaya or Caretaker, then be alert. A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Jabalpur’s Madhotal. Here an aaya (child caregiver) treated a 2-year-old innocent like a monster. The child lived for 48 days in oppression, fear and terror. When the health deteriorated, the eyes of the parents opened. Sonali told the full story of the atrocities of Zalim Aaya.
‘I do grade-3 job in Jabalpur court. Husband Mukesh Vishwakarma is a junior engineer in Patan-2. The two-year-old son is Manvik. We have installed CCTV in the house. Both me and husband are connected to the app. On May 30, the app was unable to connect. When she spoke to her husband, she connected the recording of the camera to her mobile. When I saw Rajni, who came to take care of the child, was eating his food. Told me, it felt bad. Earlier, Manvik had fallen ill on April 19, when he had to be admitted to the hospital. There the doctors told that there is swelling and infection in the stomach. It was also told that his child remains hungry, due to this he has become weak. After this, seeing this action of Rajni, we fired him from work. While arguing, he also threatened to implicate him in a false case. After this we checked the CCTV, then our senses were blown away.
We husband and wife leave at around 10 in the morning. The son lived with Rajni for eight to nine hours. During this, the entire act of Rajni done with him is recorded in the video. It has also been handed over to the police. She often used to drag her son by the hair. Used to punch in the stomach. Used to beat with a comb. She used to punch him in the back and slap on the cheek. She used to scare by holding her son’s throat. The most brutality was shown when the son went to the bathroom or defecation. She grabbed him by the hair and took him to the bathroom. The son’s milk and fruits were eaten himself. She was hungry for the whole day. She also used to feed leftovers. This cruelty of Rajni started from 12th April, which continued till the disclosure of the whole matter on 30th May. The son tried to tell, but we could not understand.
Initially Rajni used to take good care of the child. The son was also beginning to know and understand something. We used to explain to her that don’t disturb Auntie, eat well and go to sleep. My father will come in the evening. The son used to walk in her lap, but for the last one-and-a-half months his behavior changed. When he asked for something, there was a delay in giving, so he used to grab his hair and pull it. He used to slap himself many times. If we were to leave him and leave for duty, he used to slit his throat tightly and used to cry. The son’s laughter and appetite had vanished. Did not go into Rajni’s lap, used to get scared seeing her from a distance, but we could not understand. At present, the second elderly mother is kept as Aya. I also want to take some time off and spend some time with my son, so that my son’s fear can be removed.
Rajni came to oppress the innocent.
Sister-in-law mentally ill, father-in-law paralyzed
Sonali told that there are mother-in-law and a sister-in-law in the family. Father-in-law is paralyzed. Sister is mentally ill. Mother-in-law is busy taking care of them. In such a situation, the child could not be taken care of. The house is in Star City Phase-4 Karmeta Madhotal. Mother-in-law and sister-in-law keep coming and going from home village Pipariya Non Gotegaon. They are there for a month. In such a situation, a year ago, Rajni Chaudhary (32), a resident of Chaman Nagar, was kept as an aa for the care of son Manvik. She used to pay Rs 5000 to him. Chaman Nagar is the maternal uncle of Rajni Chowdhary. She was married long ago. He has three children, a 16-year-old daughter and two sons aged 14 and 12.
Cruelty increased after mother-in-law and sister-in-law went to village, child in panic
According to Sonali, mother-in-law and sister-in-law have gone to the village in April due to ancestral farming. Since then, Rajni’s cruelty increased. She used to kill her son even when her mother-in-law was living, but she used to lie when she cried. Due to panic, even the son could not tell anything. Now he is so scared that even if a loud sound comes, he immediately covers the blanket. Hides the whole body including the face with a blanket, he feels that by doing so he will be saved.
Aya Rajni told the reason
According to CSP Garha Tushar Singh, a case has been registered against Rajni under various sections including attempt to murder. Rajni is arrested and sent to jail. Rajni told that the husband and wife used to call him from time to time and ask about the son. This annoyed him. That’s why she used to do this in anger.
