In IPL, being Indian captain makes communication easier: Kuldeep Yadav

Not long ago, Kuldeep Yadav was India’s No. 1 spinner in limited overs cricket and along with Yuzvendra Chahal, he was one of India’s biggest match winners in white-ball cricket. However, in recent times, the chinaman has struggled with his form, losing his spot not only in the Indian side but also in the Kolkata Knight Riders squad.

In a recent interview with former India cricketer Aakash Chopra, Kuldeep said that he was not very happy with the communication channels in the Kolkata Knight Riders camp. Apart from this, the bowler also said that at times he does not know whether he is a part of the team or what is his role in the KKR team.

Kuldeep said that unlike the Indian team, there is no communication between the IPL sides. The spinner said that when he was dropped from the KKR squad, he was shocked as no explanation was given. He said there was a complete lack of communication, and it made him question his skills. He said it felt like there was no trust and no confidence in his skills.

The left-arm spinner also said that being an Indian captain makes a big difference compared to an overseas captain. Kuldeep said that it is easy to go to an Indian captain and talk to him, but when a foreign captain is the captain, it becomes difficult to do so when the communication gap increases.

Yadav said, “Suppose, Rohit Sharma is the captain, you can freely ask about the ways to improve, what is my role in the team, but most importantly, what does the captain also expect from me in this.” Must be interested.”

Kuldeep said that it is very difficult to make a comeback in the team and more difficult than making a debut. He said that when the spinners do not get the opportunity when the conditions are favorable and the spinners do not get the opportunity, then doubts arise.
