In Goa, the BJP lost its ally Trinamool in alliance with the state’s first ruling party, the MGP.

In Goa, the Trinamool wanted to combine the Goa Forward Party, a former ally of the BJP, with its party. However, for Ghasful Shibir, this desire reverses. Goa Forward Party chief Vijay Sardesai shook hands with Rahul Gandhi and did not want to ‘merge’. However, the grassroots level did not give up. And so this time Trinamool joined hands with Gomantak Parchi, the first ruling party in Goa. Ghasful Shibir has strengthened its hold in Goa by announcing a pre-poll alliance.

Goa is going to play a big role in spreading the flower branches of the grass all over the country. By visiting Goa, Mamta has shown the dream of a new dawn to the people of Goa. Mamta is going to go to the beach again with Abhishek Banerjee. In such a situation, Maharashtra Gomantak Party President Deepak Dhablikar held a meeting with Trinamool Vice President and Rajya Sabha MP Luisinho Faleiro and party leader Mahua Maitra in Goa on Monday. After that meeting, the alliance was announced by Trinamool.

In the 2016 Goa Assembly elections, MGP won three seats in the state. At that time, he joined a coalition government supporting the BJP. Deepak’s grandfather Sudin Dhablikar became the Deputy Chief Minister. But after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, MGP’s relationship with the BJP deteriorated. Parliamentary Party leader Sudin withdrew support to the government. But two other MLAs of the party left the MGP and joined the BJP. The anti-defection law did not come into force as two out of three MLAs joined the BJP. In this context, MGP wants to use its full force against the BJP in the next year’s elections. MGP is hopeful that the new alliance will be able to contest the assembly elections by declaring former deputy chief minister Sudin as the chief ministerial candidate. It is noteworthy that after Goa got freedom from Portuguese rule in 1971, MGP became the first ruling party in the state. He was in power in Goa continuously from 1973 to 1989. Meanwhile, it is learned that Mamta Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee will be on a tour of Goa together on December 13. Trinamool had strengthened its hold in Goa even before Mamta-Abhishek’s tour.
