In a rare duet, Shivraj and Vijayvargiya celebrate friendship with this Kishore Kumar song

In a show of unity, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya joined voices to sing a Hindi song at a “Bhutta Party” in the Vidhan Sabha building on Wednesday.

A video of the two leaders singing a song from the film “Sholay” went viral on social media on Wednesday evening. Chouhan himself shared the video shot during a party organized by Vijayvargiya on Twitter.

The two leaders can be seen singing “Yeh dosti hum nahi todenge”, and the melodious Kudrat number, “Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna” in the video. The video shows the two leaders holding microphones and surrounded by a group of people.

Another video shows the two leaders finishing a song and then putting their hands around each other. In the background, the soundtrack to the song is heard playing as a woman in the crowd helps the leaders with lyrics.

An NDTV report said that Vijayvargiya, while sharing the clip, said that he used to sang the song frequently during his Yuva Morcha days and said that the “Bhutta Party” duet helped bring back memories.

Reports said that ministers, legislators and journalists from both the ruling party and the opposition joined the “Bhutta party”. Former CM Kamal Nath was also present and was seen sharing a light moment with Vijayvargiya.

Sharing the video, the Madhya Pradesh CM didn’t forget to tag Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra, who appear in the original song, while sharing the video.

Vijayvargiya and Chauhan have been friends since joining politics. Both have been seen singing songs on public platforms in the past as well.
