IMD: Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the country, says IMD India News – Times of India

Thiruvananthapuram: Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Thiruvananthapuram said on Monday south west monsoon withdrawn from the whole country.
In a press release, the IMD said, “in view of the significant shortfall” Rain Activity in most parts of the country Southwest Today i.e. on 25 October 2021, the monsoon has returned from the entire country.
“With the establishment of northeasterly winds in the lower troposphere levels, the northeast monsoon rains have started over extreme south peninsular India today, 25 October 2021,” the release further said.
