Ikkis: Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda to star in Sriram Raghavan’s war-drama

Dharmendra and Amitabh BachchanK’s grandson Agastya Nanda is all set to come together for a film. After ‘Badlapur’, National Award winning director Sriram Raghavan has joined hands with Dinesh Vijan for ‘Ikkis’ in which they both will star. The makers announced their exciting project on the special occasion of Megastar Dharmendra Deol’s 86th birthday.

This time it is a double win as the National Award winning director has joined hands with Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films for his latest project ‘Ikkis’, a war-drama based on the life of Param Vir Chakra Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal. He is the youngest recipient of Param Vir Chakra who led an exemplary life.

The film will star the actor himself alongside Agastya Nanda. Moderated by Sriram Raghavan. The film will go on floors next year.

Earlier today, Agastya Nanda reached Dharmendra’s house to wish him a happy birthday. He touched his feet and wished the veteran actor.

Meanwhile, Agastya will make his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. will also start Shahrukh Khandaughter of Suhana Khan and Jhanvi KapoorKhushi’s sister. The Archies is a musical drama which will premiere on Netflix. At the heart of the film is the iconic group of ‘The Archies’ as it sets out to serve up a musical experience of youth, rebellion, friendship, first love and young adults that still promises to offer something for every generation Is.

Archies is expected to release in 2023.
