Pro. Abhishek Kumar, Head, Center for Career Development, IIT Guwahati said, “While most of the students sitting for placements are back on campus, a significant chunk of students are still off campus. The lessons learned from the virtual placement process of previous years have helped us plan better this year so that both on-campus and off-campus students do not face any difficulties.”

‘Create new record’

Abhishek further added that all the stakeholders of the placement process have prepared themselves for all possible issues that may arise in the process and collectively overcome the difficulties.

“Further, the efforts of those students are highly appreciated who have participated in the ongoing placement process even in these difficult times, as they have successfully understood the need of companies and prepared themselves to meet these demands. The current placement figures will set new records positively this year,” said Abhishek.
