Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Learning (OL) courses for January 2023 session. As per the latest update, the registration date has now been extended till 28th February. Candidates can apply online for the courses through the official website of IGNOU, ignou.ac.in.

The official website of IGNOU says, “The admission link for online program ODL and merit-based ODL program for January 2023 session has been extended up to 28 February 2023.” The university had earlier extended the last date for IGNOU January 2023 registration several times. The IGNOU portal is open to both Indian and International students of the university.

IGNOU January session 2023: How to apply

Step 1: Log on to the official website of IGNOU- ignou.ac.in.

Step 2: Find and click on IGNOU link available on the home page.

Step 3: On the new page, candidates will find the link provided for ODL programme, online program and merit-based ODL programme.

Step 4: Click on the desired link and fill the application form.

Step 5: Make the required payment and click on submit.

Step 6: Save, download and keep a printout of the same for further reference.

IGNOU January Session 2023: Application Fee

The last date of registration has also been extended for January 2023 session with a late fee of Rs 200. Hence, those applying for January session will have to pay a late fee of Rs 200.

Candidates should note that a non-refundable registration fee will be charged along with the program fee for the first semester or year at the time of admission.

Students who are eligible can apply for the government scholarship after the admission is confirmed on the National Scholarship Portal -scholarships.gov.in. Candidates can apply for Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree. IGNOU registrations are conducted twice a year, and app registration should be completed in online mode only.
