ICCI starts hand-holding 100 women entrepreneurs and establishes global partnership

Inventivepreneur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI) launched the ‘Shakti 2021’ initiative.

On the occasion of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day on 19th November, Inventivepreneurs Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ICCI) launched its ambitious ‘Shakti 2021’ initiative. In this special campaign, ICCI will engage 100 women entrepreneurs and form a global partnership to mentor them for the next 365 days.

ICCI Vice Chairman Rishabh Malhotra said, “Our mission is to be a catalyst for every woman to pursue her goals and become independent as a whole.

At present, there are 58.5 million entrepreneurs in India, and only 8.05 million women entrepreneurs, which is only 14 percent of women entrepreneurs in India. According to a recent study, businesses owned by women entrepreneurs in India are expected to grow by 90 percent in the next five years.
