Virat Kohli was in a jubilant mood during the Ahmedabad Test, especially after scoring his 28th Test century

Virat Kohli is known for being a live wire on the field. The former India captain has garnered a huge fan base thanks to his consistent performances with the bat and his aggressive brand of cricket. But Kohli is also someone who wears his heart on his sleeve and he is often friendly with his teammates and sometimes with the opposition as well.

A funny video of Kohli is going viral on Twitter. This short clip is from the fourth Test of the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

In the video, the 34-year-old can be heard saying, “10 minutes away. He will sit first in the plane. I will run today (I will get on the plane first and fly it).”

While the context of his comment is not clear from the video, it can be assumed that Kohli and Co. were trying to have fun on the field on day five with the Test heading towards a draw.

Kohli finally got his mojo back in red-ball cricket in the last Test of the four-match series. India’s star batsman completed his maiden Test hundred since November 2019. He scored a brilliant 186 against the mighty Aussies.

Moreover, this knock came at a crucial time when Team India was under pressure. After Australia posted 480 runs on the board, India needed a strong performance with the bat as well.

Kohli and Shubman Gill put India in the safe zone by scoring centuries.

Kohli’s knock also showed his remarkable mental fortitude as he took 241 balls to reach his century. It was the second slowest of his 28 Test hundreds.
