‘I was trolled even after my own brother left because I was smiling and doing KKK’: Nikki Tamboli

Bigg Boss 14 fame actress Nikki Tamboli is busy appearing in music videos after her stint in the TV show. Nikki is quite clearly visible, great time during the shoot and to be a part of the video. However, during her recent interview, the actress shared that she is not getting any ‘exciting’ projects.

When asked about her return to films, she said, “I am getting offers to act in TV and films, but nothing is exciting. I feel if I do a film, it should be good so that when I look back on my work so I should be proud of it and my audience should enjoy it too. I also turned down some music videos that have done well, so somewhere I feel I have to Should have taken it. No regrets, but I will focus on good work going forward. Nikki has previously worked in a few films in Telugu and Tamil film industry.

The actress, who has featured in films like Thippara Meesam (2019) and Kanchana 3 (2019), says she wants to be a “challenge” when it comes to choosing her future projects.

“This is the reason. After Bigg Boss, I am careful in the selection of my projects. I want to be the choice. I don’t care whether the production house is big or my co-actor is big, for me only my role and story Matters. If it works for me, then I am ready to take up this project,” she said of working on a film from the south.

Apart from Bigg Boss, the actress was also a contestant in the stunt-based TV show Khatron Ke Khiladi last year. His friend Rubina Dilaik is currently in Cape Town as a participant in the show. “Rubina is extremely strong and will do very well. We have seen her in Bigg Boss and know how strong-willed she is. She can win this show too. But the other contestants are also doing great,” she said of her friend.

Breaking his silence on being trolled for crying when asked about Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s death, he said, “I love Sidhu Moosewala’s work and I talked about it when I was in Bigg Boss house. was in Last year I met him in Canada while he was shooting there. It was some work. When I heard about his death, I was deeply saddened and when the paparazzi asked me about him, I burst into tears. It was a natural reaction. I was even trolled when my own brother passed away because I was smiling and doing KKK. Now people want to troll me even when I am crying. Whether I laugh or cry, I still get trolled, it doesn’t matter to me anymore.

Nikki also wrote an emotional post on Instagram, speaking about being a fan of the singer’s work and her “love” to work with her.

But as an artiste, Nikki is welcoming criticism as she looks at it in a positive way and doesn’t let it affect her. “I like criticism because I feel it gives me the energy to work harder and do better in life. Therefore, criticism has no effect on me.”
