Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, presiding over the cabinet meeting on Wednesday evening, said that he has been betrayed by his own people. Thackeray chaired a cabinet meeting here while a floor test was underway to prove his majority during the hearing of his government’s plea challenging the governor’s direction. An official said Thackeray told his cabinet colleagues that he was betrayed by his own people.
“If I have inadvertently hurt anyone, I also apologize,” the official quoted Thackeray as saying. The ministers clapped after the chief minister addressed the meeting.

Asked whether the MVA government will be able to survive the Eknath Shinde rebellion, Kedar said, “Given the manner in which Thackeray has led the state’s fight against COVID-19, every MLA of the House is at his discretion. Will vote.” Uddhav Thackeray will not stop and will not give up,” the Congress leader said.
Kedar appealed to the people to consider that a conspiracy had been hatched against Thackeray, who efficiently led the state during the pandemic and resumed his official duties soon after undergoing severe spine surgery.
