Hyundai has taken this seriously by introducing the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for the first time in its sub-compact car, the Hyundai Venue. This sensor-operated system provides alerts for lane departure and blind spots, enhancing safety on the road. Additionally, it offers audio-video warnings when objects or people come too close to the vehicle.

Starting at just Rs 7.77 lakh, the Hyundai Venue offers an exceptional value proposition. Even the top variant, priced at Rs 13.48 lakh ex-showroom, is attractively priced. The car is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen and an 8-inch digital driver display that supports voice assistants like Alexa and Google. The Venue is available in five variants: E, S, S+, S(O), SX, and SX(O), all of which feature power-adjustable driver seats.

A Blend of Style and Performance

The Hyundai Venue is a 5-seater car that combines style and substance. It boasts advanced features like an air purifier, automatic AC, a cooled glovebox, and a push-button start/stop function. The car is available in six monotone and one dual-tone color options. A single-pane sunroof adds a touch of luxury. With a top speed of 165 kmph, the Venue delivers both style and performance. Hyundai claims that the diesel engine can achieve a maximum mileage of 23.4 kmpl.

The Venue offers three engine options: a 1.2-liter petrol (83PS/114Nm), a 1-liter turbo petrol (120PS/172Nm), and a 1.5-liter diesel (116PS/250Nm). It comes with a choice of 5-speed, 6-speed manual, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions. Depending on the variant, the petrol engines offer a mileage ranging from 17.5 to 23.4 kmpl. The Hyundai Venue competes with models like the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Renault Kiger, offering safety features such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and hill-hold assist.
