Hyderabad: A 36 year old Businessman put to death by those who borrowed money from him Kalapathar on Sunday night.
The deceased was 36-year-old Abdul Sadiq, a scrap dealer from Ghazibanda in Kamatipura. According to Kalapathar inspector S Sudarshan, another businessman, Sadiq bin Ali Yamani of Kalapathar, borrowed Rs 8 lakh from the accused as hand loan and returned only a partial amount.
“When Abdul was pressuring Ali to return the amount he had borrowed, he called Abdul to his house in Misriganj area of Kalapathar on Sunday night,” the inspector said.
After Abdul met Ali, they accompanied Ali’s associates for some time to Mishriganj and nearby areas.” The inspector said, “At around 11.30 pm, Ali, along with his associates, took Abdul to his house. But he was put to death using a blunt object.”
After the the killingThe accused escaped from the spot and on the information of the neighbors, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Osmania General Hospital (OGH).
Based on the complaint of the victim’s family members, a case of murder under section 302 of the IPC has been registered. The police reportedly picked up some suspects on Monday and they are being questioned.
