Murtaza’s elder father summoned to Lucknow, emailed ATS and said – I am old, cannot come
Murtaza’s elder father and well-known doctor KA Abbasi was summoned by the ATS to Lucknow for questioning and recording the statement, but he did not go. He has responded to the notice by sending an email to ATS Headquarters. Referring to Section-160 CrPC, he said that his age is more than 60 years. In such a situation, he is unable to go to Lucknow and record his statement. After this, he reached the ATS office in Gorakhpur to record his statement, but due to the absence of the concerned officer here, his statement could not be recorded at the moment.

As the investigation is progressing in the case, new revelations are being made in this case every day. Mortaza’s bank transactions have also come to the fore. It is being claimed that security agencies have tracked the credit card transactions done by Mortaza in June 2021. It has been learned that Murtaza used to send money abroad through the PayPal app to many Islamic organizations.

In June 2021, it has come to the fore that several transactions have been done one after the other with his credit card. Security agencies have received details of transactions worth Rs 22000, 700, 16594, 16622 and 22907 in several Islamic organizations. In the last 4 to 5 months, he had sent thousands of rupees to the account of a person named Shamiullah several times.

Murtaza took the oath of jihad online
Mortaza’s money was in three accounts with ICICI, Federal and HDFC banks. He also had a credit card of ICICI Bank. Not only this, earlier information was received from Murtaza that he was in contact with a girl from Syria. Many times he also transferred money online to his female friend and also took online oath of jihad.

An acquaintance of Murtaza caught from Maharajganj
ATS has also caught one of his acquaintances from Maharajganj. Murtaza had met this person after returning from Nepal. ATS is also looking for the acquaintance of Murtaza, a resident of Mian Sarai of Sambhal.
It is believed that the NIA can take over the case to gain access to Mortaza’s entire network and his foreign connections. However it has not been confirmed.
