After a flurry of excitement about Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s new film Fighter, the actor has given fans another reason to keep the excitement going. Hrithik posted a series of pictures with co-star Deepika Padukone. The director of the film Siddharth Anand and his wife Mamta are also seen posing with both. Hrithik shared the pictures on Instagram with the caption, “This gang is ready for take-off” and added the hashtag #Fighter. Within minutes of posting, the post garnered many likes and comments from fans and followers.
The film is all set to go on floors and will be produced by Viacom 18 Studios. This is the first time that Hrithik and Deepika will be seen with each other in a film. While that in itself is enough to convince the individual fan base of both the star actors. The film has also piqued the interest of many avid audiences as it promises to be ‘India’s first aerial action franchise’. According to the makers, the story of the film will be rooted in India but will also appeal to international audiences.
Hrithik made a big announcement about the film on his birthday on January 10. The actor posted a teaser video of the film on Instagram along with a message of their collaboration. In the caption, the actor tagged Deepika Padukone and wrote, ‘Giving a glimpse of Marflixvision as Fighter. Looking forward to my first flight with the extraordinary Deepika Padukone. Everyone is ready for this joyride of Siddharth Anand.”
This will be Hrithik’s third film with director Siddharth Anand. They previously collaborated for Bang Bang released in 2014 and War co-starring Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor.
