Hrithik Roshan was on verge of depression after ‘War’, says ‘Thought I was dying’

Mumbai: Superstar Hrithik Roshan has revealed that he was close to falling into depression after working hard on his body for the 2019 action-thriller ‘War’.

Known for his fit physique, the 48-year-old actor said he felt he went into “adrenaline fatigue” during the making of the Siddharth Anand directorial.

He said, “I feel lighter and faster like my previous transformation. When I was doing ‘War’ I felt like I was dying. I was not prepared for the film and I was really up for a big challenge.” I was trying to achieve perfection.” For which I was not prepared. After the film, I went into adrenaline fatigue,” Roshan said in a podcast interview with fitness trainer Chris Gethin.

The actor also shared that after completing the film, he could not train for three-four months. He said, “I was not feeling well. I was almost on the verge of depression. So I was completely lost and that’s when I realized that I needed to make a change in my life.”

During the conversation, Gethin recalled the training given to Hrithik in 2013 and said that the actor “didn’t take a single day off in seven months”.
