MI’s star pacer, Jasprit Bumrah in a conversation with Sanjana Ganesan revealed how the pacer likes to wind down after a tough day of cricket and his message to his younger self.

Mumbai Indians and Indian international, Jasprit Bumrah recently opened up with his wife, Sanjana Ganesan asking some interesting questions to the pacer on how he handles things off the field.

The two were seen having an interaction on Mumbai Indians’ official Instagram handle. The video began with the question asked by Sanjana, “What does Jasprit Bumrah do to wind down after a tough day of cricket?”

With a smile, the quick bowler revealed without any hesitation that he would spend some time with her and their son, Angad. He said,” When my son is there and you are there, we don’t talk about cricket. We focus on our life”.

Life of a cricketer might not be as simple with there being instances where you might not be around your loved ones especially when you are on tour. Bumrah also revealed his go-to place of relaxation which would involve diving into some video games or even watching something on some of the popular OTT platforms, He revealed, “But if you’re not around then PlayStation, or watch something on Netflix and not think about the game. When I am a little calm, I reflect and start again”.

The questions got a bit personal as the ace fast-bowler was asked by Sanjana,” What advice would you give to your 16-year-old self? Not about cricket, just life”. Pondering on the answer, the quick bowler had a brief response. “Patience and don’t be so hard on yourself”.

Bumrah has continued to showcase his class in the ongoing IPL despite MI not having the best of starts.

Currently, they have just two wins from six games and sit at ninth on the points table just above the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, both Bumrah and the team will look to turn around their fortunes and fight for the title at the top of the table.
