Ingredients for making Soya Idli-

– Soya Badi – 1 cup

– Rice – 2 cups

– Moong Dal – 1/2 cup

– Oil – 1 tbsp

Salt – as per taste

How to make Soya Idli –

To make soya idli, take required quantity of rice and soya badi and soak them in different bowls.

After this, soak half a cup of moong dal for 2 to 3 hours.

Now take out the soaked rice in a sieve and remove excess water from it.

Then put the rice in a mixer jar and grind it coarsely. Grind soya badi in the same way. Repeat the same process with moong dal and grind it coarsely to make a thick paste.

Now take a big bowl and add soya badi, rice and moong dal paste and mix it well and add salt as per taste to the mixture.

Then cover the mixture and keep it in a warm place for 5 to 6 hours.

After this, take the mixture and beat it once more.

Now take the idli mold and apply oil in it and pour the prepared idli paste in the mold.

Close the lid and cook it in steam. Idli will be ready after boiling well in 10 minutes.
