Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the Grand Vitara SUV in the Indian market soon. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV will be available in 9 colour options, such as 6 mono-tone colours and 3 dual-tone colour schemes. The brand has already commenced the bookings of the Grand Vitara at a token amount of Rs 11,000. Customers can book the SUV online through the official website or at Nexa dealerships.

The company has yet to announce the pricing of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, however as per media reports it is expected to be priced from Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Production of the 2022 Grand Vitara will begin from August at Toyota manufacturing facility and the brand will likely announce the prices in September around the festive season.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara comes equipped with a large front grille, squared wheel arches, LED lighting and more. The side profile is flanked by 17-inch wheels and plastic body cladding. At the rear, the SUV gets sleeker-looking LED tail-lamps, Grand Vitara badging at the centre and more.
In terms of interior, the new Grand Vitara is equipped with a host of features, such as a 9-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a Head-Up Display, automatic AC, connected car technology and a panoramic sunroof. Other key notable features include wireless charging, reclinable rear seats, height-adjustable driver’s seat, rear AC vents and a digital instrument cluster.
Following the similar route as the recently-launched Brezza, safety suite of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will include a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, Hill Ascend and Descend Control, reverse parking camera, ABS with EBD, cruise control, Vehicle Stability Control, ESC and more.

Mechanically, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be available in two engine choices – a 100 bhp/135 Nm 1.5-litre mild hybrid engine mated with 5-speed MT or AT and a 114 bhp/122 Nm 1.5-litre strong hybrid engine paired to e-CVT. Maruti Suzuki is offering the Grand Vitara with a claimed mileage of 27.97 kmpl.
Featuring Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock modes, the new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be available with Suzuki’s All-Grip AWD system. The All-Wheel-Drive option makes it the only mid-size SUV to have this feature, similar to the Toyota Hyryder.
