How Manoj Tiwari became famous from singing and acting to becoming an MP

Bhojpuri actor Manoj Tiwari, who was born in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, started his career as a singer and gradually entered the field of acting, starring in films like Sasura Bada Paisa Wala.

The singer-cum-actor is now trying to make a name in politics and is currently serving as the Delhi State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is also an MP.

The journey from a man to a celebrity was not easy for him. Manoj was so dedicated to singing that he never stopped practicing even when he was injured or not recovering.

Toda, Y Manor Tiwari has set new benchmarks in music, acting and politics. The actor started his career with Mahavir Mandir and Orderly Bazaar in Sheetla Ghat.

Once, while singing in a program at the Mahavir temple, his head started bleeding due to injury. Despite this, he did not stop performing, his close friend had said in an interview.

With the release of his devotional album, Manoj Tiwari’s fortunes changed. The actor was also called to perform Ganga Aarti for the first time in 1991.

Till 1995, Tiwari used to get offers to sing only in small shows. However, things changed dramatically when he released his song, Badi Sher Par Sawar from his album Sheetla Ghat Pe Kashi Mein, which created a stir among the Bhojpuri audience.

He got a lot of recognition and offers from his devotional albums and now he is a famous actor and politician. The album Sheetla Ghat came as a boon in the life of the actor.

Manoj Tiwari was also a contestant in the famous reality TV show, Bigg Boss in 2010. The Bharatiya Janata Party has also released a song in Tiwari’s voice ahead of the UP state elections.
