Educational Initiative to Help Women #Take Charge of Their Investments

If women want to know more about mutual funds, then they can give a missed call on the given number

DSP Mutual Fund has announced the launch of a hotline to encourage women to learn more about investing.

Women can give a missed call on 8657011333 if they want to know more about mutual funds, investments or how they can take their first step towards financial planning, said a company statement.

DSP’s Winvester Pulse 2022 study conducted with research agency partner YouGov revealed that nearly 2 in 3 men (65%) take investment decisions largely independently but a much lower percentage (44%) of women do so Does

The study also found that a much higher proportion of men (40%) make completely independent investment decisions (without consulting a professional advisor) than women (27%).

Meanwhile, a recent Morningstar Investment Advisor India annual report stated that despite a gradual increase in the number of women over the years, women account for only 10 per cent of the total fund managers in the mutual fund industry.

The report on women fund managers in the asset management industry said that the total number of women fund managers has increased from 32 last year to 42 now.

Interestingly, the total number of fund managers also increased from 399 last year to 428 this year.
