Shah praises Yogi

Shah will also go to Mirzapur

Shah will also inaugurate-lay the foundation stone of 90 schemes worth 288 crores. This is his second visit to Mirzapur in three years. Let us inform that on the lines of Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, the plan of Vindhya Corridor in Mirzapur was being prepared by the Yogi government since last year.
2000 policemen will be in security, drone will be monitored
In view of the visit of Amit Shah and CM Yogi, security arrangements have been strengthened in Mirzapur. According to the police, the entry of heavy vehicles will remain closed in Mirzapur on August 1. Alternative routes have been arranged for them. 2000 policemen have been deployed for security, while ATS personnel and dog squad are also present at various places.

Devotees will not be able to see Vindhyavasini Mata from 12 noon to 4 pm. This decision has been taken from the security point of view. Shah and Yogi will perform Bhoomi Pujan and visit Adishakti Maa Vindhyavasini in the foundation stone laying ceremony under Vindhya Corridor Scheme. Traffic will also remain closed on the road leading to Dham during the program. Local people have also been asked to stay in their homes during this time.

What is Vindhya Corridor?
On 30 October 2020, the State Government had approved the construction of Vindhya Corridor in Mirzapur on the lines of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. Its total cost is Rs 331 crore. Under this, four major roads adjoining the temple will be widened. Here 92 surrounding buildings have been demolished for the parikrama path. After the completion of the construction, there will be a darshan of the Ganges from the temple and Maa Vindhyavasini from the banks of the Ganges.
