Hitman Hits Again! Rohit Sharma Smashes 48th Century

Indian captain Rohit Sharma smashes his 12th century of his test career in the first innings against England here at Dharamsala on Thursday.

The hitman achieved this milestone in 154 balls. Rohit smashed 13 fours and 3 sixes to achieve this milestone.

This is the 48th international century that came from team India’s Hitman bat.

In terms of record, Rohit has left behind England’s legendary player Joe Root and former South African legend AB de Villiers. With this he has equalled Rahul Dravid.

Joe Root, the England legend has a total of 47 international centuries registered in his name.

Apart from this, former South African legend AB de Villiers also has 47 international centuries in his name.

Furthermore, former Indian veteran player Rahul Dravid has 48 international centuries in his name.
