Congress MP Jairam Ramesh on Friday lashed out towards the Centre over the modification to the Nationwide Flag Code that may enable the manufacture and import of flags fabricated from polyester.
Responding to a tweet by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the nationwide flag, Ramesh mentioned, “They’re destroying the livelihood of those that made nationwide flags from khadi.”
It was on at the present time in 1947 that the nationwide flag was adopted.
“He [PM Modi] has been a campaigner for the organisation that took 52 years to hoist the nationwide flag in Nagpur,” Jairam Ramesh mentioned in what seems to be a reference to the RSS.
