An organization of controversial priest Yeti Narasimhananda on Sunday asked Hindus to have more children to save India from becoming an Islamic country.

Pujari, out on bail in the Haridwar hate speech case, had earlier this month urged Hindus in Mathura to have more children to prevent the country from becoming “Hindu-less” in the coming decades.

Yeti Satyadevanand Saraswati, Himachal Pradesh in-charge of Akhil Bharatiya Sant Parishad said that India is a democratic country as Hindus are in majority.

He claimed on the first day of the organization’s three-day ‘Dharma Sansad’ at Mubarakpur in Himachal Pradesh’s Una district that Muslims are increasing their population by giving birth to many children in a planned manner.

“That’s why our organization has asked Hindus to give birth to more children to save India from becoming an Islamic nation,” Saraswati said.

In view of attending the meeting of Yeti Narasimhananda, Annapurna Bharati and many other saints and priests all over the country, Himachal Pradesh Police has directed Saraswati in a notice that language that is provoking against any religion should not be used or Caste.

While issuing a notice under Section 64 of the Police Act, 2007, the SHO of Amb police station in Una district said that if such instructions are not followed, appropriate legal action will be taken.
