Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said that a Hindu is one who understands that “diversity is many expressions of one unity”.
The presidency of the G20 is coming India It was no ordinary achievement, he said in a speech in Hindi at the closing ceremony of the RSS officers’ training camp here.
A Hindu is every person who is traditionally a resident of India and is accountable (‘responsible’) to it, he said.
“We can live with diversity, all diversity can go (live) together because diversity is many expressions of the same unity. One who understands this is a Hindu,” he said.
Bhagwat also cautioned that even today there are “evil forces and their agents” working to ensure that India disintegrates and does not progress.
