Hindu groups protest Udaipur, Amravati killings at ‘Sankalp’ march in Delhi

New Delhi: Waving the tricolor and raising slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’, hundreds of people took part in the ‘Sankalp March’ organized by various Hindu organizations here on Saturday against the ‘attacks on the community’. The march started from Mandi House area and will end at Jantar Mantar.

BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga and Kapil Mishra were also present in March.

Several roads in central Delhi have been temporarily closed due to the march.

Traffic Police on Twitter advised commuters to avoid traveling from Sikandra Road, Barakhamba Road, Copernicus Marg, Feroz Shah Road, Bhagwan Das Road, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Tolstoy Marg, Parliament Street to Outer Circle Connaught Place to Patel Chowk and Janpath . Outer Circle Connaught Place to R/A Windsor Place between 8.30am and 2pm.

Police said these roads would be used only for pedestrians during this period.
