A video of music composer Himesh Reshammiya has gone viral on the internet in which he can be seen posing next to his wife Sonia Kapoor. This left users in a split, even as they started trolling him for not accepting his personality and height.
In the viral video, Himesh is also seen holding Sonia and trying to pose on her toes. Not only this, he almost slipped once while balancing his feet to maintain the height. Himesh was wearing a print shirt, denims and white sneakers. On the other hand, Sonia appeared in a glamorous white colored pantsuit. One user wrote, “I don’t know what the fuss is about a wife being two inches tall…”
Himesh and Sonia tied the knot on May 11, 2018 in an intimate ceremony which was attended by only close friends and family. He told Mid-Day at the time, “We’ve been together for a long time, so marriage was a natural progression. It feels great to formalize our relationship. We are both very romantic. With the woman I love, life couldn’t be better.”
This is Himesh’s second marriage. He was earlier married to Komal 22 years ago and they have a son Swayam. Himesh and Komal got divorced in June 2017 and there was speculation that Sonia was responsible for their divorce. However, Komal rubbished the reports and said in a statement, “No one else should be dragged into this matter and no one else is responsible for it.” The reason for our marriage not working is one and only compatibility. Sonia is not responsible at all for this and our son himself and our family love Sonia as a member of the family.”
