Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and his Nagaland counterpart Neiphiu Rio held a meeting on Sunday and discussed a range of issues affecting the two northeastern states. Though the officials remained silent about the issues discussed in the in-camera meeting, sources said the two spoke only on a few “personal and political issues”.

Sarma, who tweeted to inform about the meeting when the press was not allowed in the Circuit House, also did not share the details of the discussion which lasted for about 15 minutes.
