Traffic was suspended on the Chamba-Bharmour National Highway after a bridge collapsed due to a landslide in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district on Sunday morning. The incident is of Luna area of Bharmour village of Chamba district.
Chamba highway executive engineer Sanjeev said, “We are renovating the bridge and also making a footpath. We have made a footpath across the Ravi river.”
Giving a statement on the bridge collapse, Chamba District Emergency Operation Center (DEOC) officials said, “A landslide occurred at Luna Bharmour in Chamba district. In this incident, the bridge has completely collapsed and 9NH- 154A) Chamba to Bharmour is completely cut off.”
