The cable car of the resort Timber Trail, located on the Chandigarh-Shimla national highway in Solan district, was stuck in the air for over an hour. Officials said a rescue operation is on and the Indian Army may be called in to assist in the rescue of tourists who had shared videos of the tragedy with their family members. Two tourists were rescued by hanging them with a rope, an official said. According to MLA Dhani Ram Shandil, the rescue operation is on.
