Himachal Pradesh tops the country in vaccination: 95.1% of the population has been vaccinated; In 8 states, the figure is not even 50%, 48.1% of the total population of the country has been vaccinated

Himachal Pradesh has topped the country in terms of corona vaccination. Himachal remains at the first place among all the states of the country in terms of vaccinating 95.1 percent of the population by applying the first dose. Out of 55 lakh 22 thousand population of the state, 52 lakh 50 thousand 505 people have been given the first dose to protect against corona virus. According to the data released by the central government, there is no other state near this figure of Himachal Pradesh.

At the same time, only 48.1 percent of India’s population has been vaccinated. A total population of 94 crore 1 lakh 87 thousand in the country has been selected for vaccination. Of these, only 45 crore 18 lakh 4 thousand 528 people have received the first dose of the vaccine so far. The main reason for the low first dose in India is the poor performance of big states of the country, because more than 40 percent of the people here are still not vaccinated. Due to this, less population has been vaccinated in India, while smaller states are giving better performance in terms of vaccination. Due to low population, vaccination has reached here on the verge of completion.

40 percent vaccination so far in neighboring Punjab
In the neighboring state of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, 40 percent of the people have received the first dose of the vaccine. Here the population of 22 crore 7 lakh 37 thousand has to be given both doses, but so far only 9 crore 29 lakh 1 thousand 146 have been able to get the first dose of the vaccine. Punjab is ranked 19th in the country.

Such is the vaccination performance of the states
Uttarakhand ranks second. 73 percent of the population here has been vaccinated. The target is 80 lakh 60 thousand and 58 lakh 84 thousand have been vaccinated. Similarly, 71 percent of the population of Kerala has been vaccinated. In Gujarat, 66% people have got the vaccine. In Assam, 62% people have been vaccinated. 61.5 percent in Jammu and Kashmir, 61.1 percent in Madhya Pradesh, 58.6 percent in Delhi, 58.5 percent in Rajasthan, 57.9 percent in Karnataka, 54.2 percent in Haryana, 54.1 in Assam, 50 percent in Odisha, 49.2 in Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh 49.1% people have got the vaccine.

The performance of these states is very poor.
The performance of 8 states of the country regarding vaccination is going very poorly. Even 50 percent of the people here have not been able to get the vaccine. In Telangana, only 45.3% people have been vaccinated. 42.7 percent in Maharashtra, 40.9 percent in Punjab, 40.1 in Tamil Nadu, 37.5 in Jharkhand, 36.9 in Bihar, 36.2 in Uttar Pradesh and only 36.2 in West Bengal have received the first dose of the vaccine.
