Himachal Pradesh: First Budget of Congress govt will be people-centric, says CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday said his government’s first budget would be “people-centric” and this change would be visible to all. Himachal CM said that some tough decisions have to be taken to bring the state back on track.

Sukhu said, ‘Wait for a year, you will see a change in the system.’ The Chief Minister said that the government was committed to work for the welfare of every last person of the state.

Sukhu assured the people that there would be no dearth of funds for the construction of Dr. Radhakrishnan Medical College at Hamirpur and it would be equipped with latest technology to become a model health institution in the state. He said that the Government would open a Nursing College in the premises of the Medical College.

Earlier in the day, Sukhu warned against drug and mining mafia in the state and indicated that action could be taken against them. Sukhu also said that the government will ensure that the youth of the state are not cheated in the name of jobs. He said that suspension of Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission is the first step in this direction.
