The allegation of Hindus – Government security is insufficient
Hindus living in transit camps in Ganderbal, Srinagar and South Kashmir alleged that the police were not allowing them outside the gate. An employee, who arrived in the city to catch a vehicle from the rural area of Srinagar, said, “The government has given us postings at district headquarters, but it is not enough. One has to go to the market for milk and grocery. How will the children go to school? Police cannot provide security everywhere. So the only option is to reach Jammu somehow. Will think about the rest later.

Another employee said – posting of all non-Muslims at the district headquarters is also a dangerous thing. This means that local workers will be transferred elsewhere. This will make the situation worse. That’s why we’re leaving.

20 civilians have been killed in Kashmir this year. Of these, 9 murders took place in the last 22 days, in which 5 were Hindus and 3 were of security forces. These jawans had come home on leave. Amarnath Yatra a big challenge, 350 companies will be deployed
Experts, who have been monitoring the situation in Kashmir for decades, say that if the workers are left out, then terrorists are creating a new trend of conspiracy to scare non-Kashmiri professionals out of employment by spreading panic. In such a situation, the challenges of security agencies have increased manifold. In Kashmir, apart from the security forces, more than 10 thousand people in other government services are from non-Kashmiri or Pandit community. It is impossible to give security to all, now these are the new and easy targets of terrorists.

In the current situation, it is a big challenge for the security agencies to conduct the Amarnath Yatra in a peaceful manner. According to estimates, 350 companies of paramilitary forces will be deployed along the Yatra route and other places to prevent terrorist violence during the travel period of 42 days. This year the army will use drone cameras to monitor the transit camps/base camps. Shrine Board has also started RIFD tagging of all vehicles, pilgrims and pithu.
