Israel’s High Court of Justice ruled that female couples can both be registered as mothers on their children’s birth certificates, Israeli media reported on Thursday.
In its ruling, the High Court stated that the Population and Immigration Authority must issue amended birth certificates to the petitioners, or the female couples, that reflect their status as mothers of their children.
