Hema Malini on Yogi Adityanath’s return to power in UP: Women are able to move freely; no corruption

With the Bharatiya Janata Party marching towards a landslide victory in Uttar Pradesh, BJP MP and actress Hema Malini has lauded PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath for their historic performance in the assembly elections. When asked what actually worked in Adityanath’s favour, Hema Malini said, “Women have been provided security. This has been one of the most important factors. Earlier women were not safe in Uttar Pradesh. We were hearing about all kinds of atrocities against women. Today they are not atrocities. There is no corruption. Law and order is under control. Farmers are very happy. Also, during the Covid-19 pandemic when the whole country was in crisis, Yogi ji controlled everything so well in UP. ,

Both the Bahujan Samaj Party and the Congress, once the main players of the state, have been reduced to a single digit.
