Red alert has been issued in 11 districts of Madhya Pradesh, while yellow alert has been issued in 10 districts of Rajasthan.

According to IMD, heavy rains may occur in Northeast India, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab till August 23.
