BENGALURU: Education department has declared a holiday for government, aided and unaided schools that fall under the ambit of Block Education Office of Bengaluru South-4 (K R Puram limits) on Wednesday.
This is following heavy rains in the area that had resulted in floods in the city’s tech corridor.

The department had announced a holiday on Tuesday too. Even though Monday was not an official holiday, many schools had remained shut and some others had moved online.

According to the BEO, around 220 government schools, 32 aided and 452 unaided schools fall under the ambit of South-4.
