Heavy rain may occur in South Bengal from Wednesday, North Bengal may swim today

It has been raining in South Bengal for the past several days. The Meteorological Department said that there will be less rain from Sunday. Accordingly, the Alipore Meteorological Department informed that today there will be scattered rain in South Bengal. However, there is a possibility of heavy rain again from Wednesday.

The sky will remain cloudy in Kolkata today. Alipore Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorm and rain in Kolkata. However, the Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of heavy rain in the city today. Today there will be light to moderate rain. The air has a high water vapor content so it will be uncomfortably hot even when it rains. In the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Kolkata will be around 32 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 28 degree Celsius. Kolkata recorded a maximum temperature of 31.1 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature was 25. degree Celsius. Kolkata has received 22.5 mm of rain in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the condition of the seasonal axis still persists from Bankura to Bay of Bengal via Digha. This seasonal axis will gradually shift towards North Bengal and lie over the boundary area. As a result, light to moderate rain is likely over South Bengal. There is a possibility of heavy rain in North Bengal. Meanwhile, the effect of this seasonal axis is creating the possibility of heavy rains again in South Bengal from Wednesday.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in the districts of North Bengal from Tuesday. Alipore Meteorological Department has warned of heavy to very heavy rain in North Bengal today. Heavy to very heavy rain has been warned in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Koch Behar and Jalpaiguri.
