Sidhu Musewala was shot dead on 29 May in Jawaharke, Mansa.
Punjab and Haryana High Court will hear the petition of Shaganpreet, close to Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala. Shaganpreet has described himself as the manager of Moosewala. Shaganpreet has filed two petitions in the High Court.
In the first petition, anticipatory bail has been sought in the murder case of Akali leader Vicky Middukheda. In the second, gangsters Lawrence and Goldie Brar are threatened with life. He has sought protection from the High Court. He said that whenever he comes to Mohali, security should be provided to him to go from the airport to the designated place.
Vicky Middukheda, a college friend of gangster Lawrence, was murdered in Mohali last year. The Lawrence gang claims that Musewala was murdered to avenge it.
There were allegations in the Middukheda murder case
Shaganpreet is close to Sidhu Musewala. He used to live with Musewala earlier. Used to deal with all the shows of Moosewala. However, in August last year, his name came up in the murder of Middukheda in Mohali. It was then said that in the investigation of the Delhi Police, he was related to the sharp shooters of gangster Kaushal Chaudhary, who was responsible for the Middukheda murder. He gave shelter and vehicle to sharp shooters. He also took food for them.
Shaganpreet went to Australia as soon as the name was revealed
Shaganpreet suddenly went to Australia after the name surfaced in the Middukheda murder case. He has been living there since then. The Lawrence gang who killed Musewala also suspects that Shaganpreet was helped by Musewala to escape to Australia. It is also likely that because of this enmity, Lawrence gang killed Musewala.
