Hearing in Lucknow court on the claim of Hindu side on Teli Wali Masjid today

On Monday, the sessions court will hear the petition filed by the Hindu side on the Tili Wali Masjid in Lucknow. This is a revision petition filed in the District Sessions Court against the order of the lower court on the suit filed in 2013.

The petition claimed that the Tili Wali Masjid is actually Laxman Tila and should be handed over to the Hindus.

Advocate Harishankar Jain, who is also fighting the Gyanvapi Masjid and Mathura Masjid cases, claims that the entire Teli Wali Masjid complex is the site of Sheshnagastha Tileshwar Mahadev, who was demolished during the reign of Aurangzeb.

Considering it as a representative case, the court issued notice to both the parties. The court rejected the demand of the defendant to quash the suit.

The case was filed in the lower court on behalf of Bhagwan Sheshnagastha Tileshwar Mahadev Virajman, Laxman Tila Sheshnag Teerth Bhoomi, Dr VK Srivastava, Ramratan Maurya, Vedprakash Trivedi, Dilip Sahu, Swatantra Kumar Tripathi and Dhanveer Singh.

Secretary Home Ministry through Union of India, Archaeological Survey of India Lucknow Circle, UP State Principal Secretary Home, District Magistrate Lucknow, Director General of Police UP, Senior Superintendent of Police Lucknow, Superintendent of Police West Lucknow, Inspector Chowk, CEO Sunni Central Board, Waqf The Chief Executive Officer and Maulana Fazur Rehman were made the respondent.
