In Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has dismissed Health Minister Dr. Vijay Singla from the cabinet. Vijay Singla has been relieved from the post of cabinet minister. Vijay Singla was demanding 1% commission for the work being done in the health department. Its complaint had reached CM Bhagwant Mann. He got it investigated secretly. The minister was summoned after questioning the officers. The minister accepted the mistake, after which he was sacked.

In this, a minister of my government was asking for one percent commission in every tender or purchase and sale of that department. Only I know about this case. The opposition parties and media are not aware of this. If I wanted, I could have pressed the case. This would break people’s trust. I am taking strict action against that minister. He has been sacked from the cabinet. The police have been ordered to register a case against him. Mann said that the minister has also confessed his crime.

Mann said that the opposition parties will say that within two months a minister of my government was found involved in corruption. I want to say that I have also taken action. He said that even the old CM knew who was involved in illegal sand mining? Still no action was taken. Along with sacking the minister, I am also registering a case against him.
