Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will interact and felicitate the top 25 rank holders in NEET PG of both medical and dental courses. Officials said this is the first time that the Union Health Minister will felicitate the top rankers in the entrance examination.
NEET PG-2022 results were declared on June 1. Mandaviya will also host a dinner for the top rank holders. He said that senior officials of the Ministry of Health would also be present on the occasion.
The event falls on the eve of National Doctor’s Day, which will be celebrated in all medical and dental colleges across the country including all AIIMS. Eminent doctors at the central level will be honored in the program to be held on July 1 at Lady Hardinge Medical College. Responding to the health minister’s felicitation ceremony, a doctor said, “The initiative will inspire young and emerging postgraduate experts to serve the country.”
