Deepika revealed that she was initially reluctant to choose an acting career, but after her mother’s persuasion, she decided to enter the entertainment industry. She quit her job as an air hostess and got her first photoshoot done. Deepika said that the TV industry has been very kind to her and she got her first chance as a TV actress within eight months.
Deepika also revealed how some co-stars were not comfortable with her initially. Deepika said that this fact could not dampen her enthusiasm. The actress said that she got a lot of support from her directors and unit members.
