Haryana: Women lead tractor parade rehearsal in Jind. Gurgaon News – Times of India

Jind: farmers Tractor parade was taken out in rehearsal for the proposed tractor parade on August 15 Uchana Kalan block of HaryanaJind district on Wednesday. Notably, farmers have announced to take out tractor parades in all towns of Jind district on Independence Day to demand repeal of three agricultural laws. The women led the rehearsal parade in a bullock cart carrying the tricolor and ‘Bharatiya Kisan Sangh’ flag on it. He also used to drive tractor. Women will also drive tractors on that day.
The farmers took out a tractor parade in Delhi on 26 January, which was embroiled in controversy after uncontrolled incidents on the occasion, the farmers opted for Haryana to hold a second tractor parade in which local farmers of the villages would participate.
Wednesday at Uchana Kalan, represented by a section JJP Leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala, farmers driving tractors, wore turbans with hookahs in their hands. Seeking support from every section of the society for the ongoing farmers’ movement after the rehearsal, the farmers will take out a parade from major points like Jind-Patiala-Delhi National Highway Uchana Main Bazaar.
“We will start our tractor parade on August 15 at 11 am from Uchana Kalan town which will go through the route plan prepared by the farmers. The farmers will conclude the parade by displaying their agricultural culture and equipment used in farming at the cotton market of Uchana Kalan. We have planned to take out tractor parade at Khatkar Toll Plaza, Narwana, Julana and Safidon In which thousands of tractors and other vehicles will take part. The farmer’s volunteers will keep an eye on the whole situation till the parade is on. The parade will give more strength to the movement as people are still willing to participate in the tractor parade BKU District President Azad Singh Palwan
“Women will demonstrate their power as they take to the street in their ethnic attire for the tractor parade on August 15,” said Sikkim Nain Sheokand, BKU (Women’s Branch) District President.
