Haryana reports 22 COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths. Chandigarh News – Times of India

CHANDIGARH: Haryana recorded 22 COVID-19 cases and 2 deaths on Sunday.
There were no new deaths in 20 districts of the state and no new cases were reported in 13 districts. The state also reported 45 recoveries during the day.
While 40,877 people got jabs of the vaccine a day. 25,525 received the first dose while 15,352 received the second dose. While the overall coverage of vaccination reached 11019660.

The day’s COVID positivity rate was reported to be 0.09% and the second wave’s positivity rate came down to 9.90%. Gurugram Maximum 7 cases were reported in Palwal and Faridabad districts, three each. Two cases each were reported from Karnal, Rohtak and Yamunanagar districts. While one case each was reported from Hisar, Panipat and Sirsa districts respectively.
The recovery rate rose to 98.66%, while the cumulative mortality rate remained stable at 1.25%. One death each has been reported from Hisar. Bhiwani The district tested 21248 persons during the day. With this, the testing rate had gone up to 423141 tests per million per day and the total testing in the state reached 10726632.
