Haryana Cong Members Hold Protest Outside Assembly Against Khattar Government

Congress MLAs, led by Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, took out a foot march from the High Court Chowk and then assembled outside the assembly premises.

Members of the opposition Congress protested outside the Haryana Assembly premises on Tuesday over various issues, including unemployment and demanding the sacking of state minister Sandeep Singh.

Congress legislators, led by Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, took out a foot march from the High Court Chowk and then assembled outside the Assembly complex.

They were carrying several placards that read ‘Give employment to the youth’ and ‘Congress ka haath kisan ke saath’ (Congress is with the farmers).

The protesters also raised slogans against the Manohar Lal Khattar government.

Congress members sought the resignation of Singh, who was booked for sexual harassment.

Kiran Chowdhary, Raghuveer Singh Kadian, Bibi Batra, Aftab Ahmed, Varun Chowdhary and Chiranjeev Rao were among those who participated in the protest.
