Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday announced that the cabinet expansion in the state will take place on December 28 and the swearing-in ceremony will take place at 4 pm.
The Chief Minister said in a tweet, “The expansion of the Haryana cabinet will take place on 28 December 2021. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Haryana Raj Bhavan at 4 pm.

Earlier on December 9, CM Khattar had met Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, sparking speculation of cabinet expansion, a Dainik Jagran report said.
The last cabinet expansion was done in November 2019, when the chief minister expanded his council of ministers by inducting 10 members. Of the 10 ministers, six were appointed to cabinet rank, while four were elected as ministers of state, bringing the cabinet count to 12.
